Key Responsibilities

Build and strengthen long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads and customer inquiries.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Consult with customers to understand their equipment, applications, and product requirements.
Recommend appropriate roller chains, sprockets, bearings, motors, and related industrial products.
Prepare accurate quotes, communicate available options, and close sales.
Follow up consistently on leads, quotes, and open opportunities.
Reengage previous customers and develop dormant accounts.
Identify additional needs and sales opportunities within existing accounts.
Partner with the Sales Manager to develop business plans and achieve performance goals.
Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, fulfillment teams, and vendor partners to support customer needs.
Maintain accurate customer, quote, and sales information within company systems.
Manage multiple accounts and opportunities while prioritizing activities effectively.
Continue developing sales techniques and technical product knowledge through training.
Deliver responsive, value-added service that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications

3 years of sales experience required; 5+ years preferred, preferably in inside sales, account management, business development, industrial distribution, or consultative sales.
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and generate new business.
Strong communication, customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Confident and professional telephone and email communication.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to continuously expand product knowledge.
Competitive, goal-oriented, reliable, and personally accountable.
Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Familiarity with supply chain systems and processes is preferred.
Knowledge of industrial products such as power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical components is highly valued.
Experience with NetSuite, HubSpot, CRM, ERP, or sales-management software is preferred.
Understanding of sales techniques and business development strategies.
High level of integrity and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Existing industry experience is welcome, but candidates must be coachable and open to learning USA Roller Chain's customer-first sales approach.

Pay and Benefits

Full-time, W-2 employment.
Base salary: $45,000 annually, plus uncapped commission. Based on current sales opportunities and the commission plan, successful representatives may earn total annual compensation of approximately $120,000-$180,000 or more. Actual earnings vary based on individual sales performance and are not guaranteed.
No commission cap; the more you produce, the more you can earn
Strong inbound lead volume, established customers, and dormant accounts with significant revenue potential.
Structured sales process and technical product training.
Long-term career and leadership opportunities.
PTO/Sick Leave: 3 days after 90 days.
Vacation: 1 week after 1 year, with increases over time.
