USA Roller Chain & Sprockets is seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented E-Commerce Manager to oversee the daily operation and continued development of its Shopify Plus website. This is not a "set it and forget it" website. With more than 50,000 products, thousands of collections, technical resources, and frequent updates, the platform is constantly evolving. You will manage product data, improve site organization, support front-end updates, monitor performance, and coordinate with internal leadership and external development partners.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Shopify expertise with strong catalog-management, analytical, SEO, and project-coordination skills. You do not need to be located in Florida, but you must communicate clearly, work independently, and maintain reliable overlap with the company's U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's Shopify Plus storefront
  • Perform regular website updates, configurations, and quality checks
  • Maintain a catalog containing more than 50,000 products
  • Complete bulk updates to titles, descriptions, tags, prices, images, and attributes
  • Organize products into accurate, scalable collections and categories
  • Improve site navigation, filtering, search, and product discovery
  • Add new products and update existing product information
  • Maintain consistent product taxonomy and data standards
  • Identify and correct broken links, inaccurate content, and website errors
  • Make light front-end changes using HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid
  • Support new Shopify features, applications, integrations, and improvements
  • Coordinate projects with external developers, agencies, and marketing partners
  • Translate business needs into clear technical tasks
  • Review and test updates before and after launch
  • Support technical and on-page SEO improvements
  • Optimize product pages, collections, and educational content
  • Monitor traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and revenue performance
  • Use site data to recommend improvements to merchandising and user experience
  • Support promotions, campaigns, product spotlights, and new content
  • Help bring more e-commerce capabilities and institutional knowledge in-house

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of verifiable, hands-on Shopify experience
  • Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing a large or technically complex product catalog
  • Proficiency with Shopify Admin and bulk CSV operations
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid
  • Experience with product taxonomy, attributes, collections, tags, and filters

  • Experience with Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or comparable tools
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot website and product-data issues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Comfortable coordinating with developers and external agencies

  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Reliable internet connection and availability during agreed working hours
  • Experience with industrial, technical, or B2B e-commerce is a plus
  • Experience with large SKU environments and third-party integrations is highly preferred
  • Schedule: Candidates must be available for at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours. Specific working hours will be agreed upon before engagement.

*Preferred remote-work setup: To support consistent availability, candidates are encouraged to have a reliable backup plan for both internet connectivity and power outages. This may include a mobile hotspot or secondary internet provider, along with a UPS, inverter, battery system, or generator. While not strictly required, having these safeguards is strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • Full-time, remote position
  • Pay: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience and location

Why USA Roller Chain & Sprockets?

You will work on a large, active B2B platform with more than 50,000 products, ongoing development needs, strong organic visibility, and real revenue impact. The company is investing in bringing more digital expertise in-house and wants someone who can grow with the platform. If complex catalogs make you curious instead of nervous, this may be the challenge you have been looking for.
